Benefit Concert for Black History Month 2021

Ujima Language and Literacy presents a Black history month benefit concert featuring Missouri State University Gospel Choir and The Milly Project. The concert is free with limited seating Sunday, Feb. 21st at 3pm at Turning Point Church, 1722 North National Avenue, Springfield, Missouri. We will also livestream on Facebook. We will accept donations at the door. Proceeds benefit Ujima, MSU Gospel Choir, and The Milly Project.


We invite your business to partner with us to make this MSU gospel concert experience, featuring vignettes from The Milly Project, a complete success. All sponsorships are tax deductible (tax i.d. 30-1005791). All proceeds will benefit The Milly Project, MSU’s Gospel Choir, and Ujima Language and Literacy. Gold ($500), Silver ($250) will receive VIP seating, public recognition at the concert, on all virtual promotional platforms, and on the programs. However, Platinum Sponsors ($1,000) will also have the opportunity to set up an event table in the foyer to promote their entity’s mission, products and services as well as speak via video or in-person post-intercession on stage and may choose to state why you chose to sponsor Ujima’s Black History Month Concert.
