Dr. Shurita Thomas-Tate is an associate professor of speech-language pathology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Missouri State University. Dr. Thomas-Tate is a former Springfield NAACP Education Committee Chair and led the NAACP Youth Council. Dr. Thomas-Tate is also a member of the Springfield R-12 Board of Education.
